Needles, cartridges, blades and razors are regulated waste. Most studios are generating it without realising it counts.
A studio can run for years without anyone asking. Then a complaint comes in, or the municipality does a sweep, or a client makes an issue of it — and the first question is where the sharps go. A hard-plastic container behind the counter and a friendly relationship with the local skip is not an answer that survives that conversation.
The rule does not scale with your size. A one-chair studio using a single sharps container a month is under the same obligation as a hospital ward. That feels disproportionate until you consider that the needle is exactly as sharp either way.
The big waste companies are built around hospital volumes. Their pricing, their routing and their minimum charges all assume you generate hundreds of kilograms a month. When a studio phones them, they either do not call back or they quote something absurd.
We built the business around exactly that gap. One sharps container a month is a real account to us. There is no minimum and no contract.
We drop off correctly labelled sharps containers sized to your actual use. You fill them, seal them, and on your collection day we swap them for clean ones and hand you a signed manifest. When the waste is destroyed, the certificate is filed against your account. If an inspector asks, you have a paper trail going back as far as you have been with us.
Month to month, priced on what you actually generate. Even if that is one container.
